Three weeks later...

Welp it has been three weeks since our little bundle was born and it has been an amazing, albeit exhausting, three weeks. My mom and nane stayed with me for a week after Cooper was born and they were such a big help!! They cleaned and cooked and helped us out so we could spend all our time with Cooper. It was lovely. My mom was so wonderful. There is so much to learn in that first few days and I was so glad to have my mom there to show me the ropes and help to calm my nerves.

These three weeks have been such a learning process.  We learned very fast that Cooper is definitely a night owl like his mama. He spent the first few weeks waking up every two hours. I have heard that most babies are up at night, but ours is up at night and a lot during the day. I never thought such a little person could wear me out the way he did. haha. Event hough I was so exhausted every time I had to get up, I constantly kept thinking how I wouldn't have it any other way. I am one who LOVES to sleep, but for Cooper I would stay up all day and all night and be happy. (and that i did, lol) I have taken a thousand pictures of him already and I just cant get enough. He is three weeks old today and I feel like he is already growing up to fast. He can lift his head for almost 10 seconds and, even though it was a fluke, Phillip and I will say he rolled over the other day! ha. It was really his squirmy body and his crazy kicking legs that made it easy for him to roll over. We tried to get him to do it again, but I think we just made him mad. lol.

He already has such a personality and I cant wait to see what he will do next. I wake up every day and I am constantly reminded of how lucky I am to have such an amazing husband to share this all with. Phillip and I are just amazed at this incredible gift we have been given.

Here are some pics from the past few weeks:
